Killarney Phoenix U15 boys take bronze at provincials
Congratulations to the Killarney Phoenix U15 boys team which finished as provincial bronze medallists last weekend.
The team competed in the 2016 BC Soccer U13 - U18 Les Sinnott Memorial Boys Provincial Cup held in West Vancouver. The boys earned their berth in the provincials by playing in the finals of the Coastal Cup when they finished in second place.
The team completed the provincial tournament with two wins and a loss. They started off July 7 with a 5-2 win over the Prince George Timberwolves. The next day, they lost 5-3 to Surrey FC Avalanche before wrapping things up with a 4-0 win over North Van FC Surge on Saturday.
KYSA shared the third-place finish with the Nelson Selects.
